Terms of Service

1. The service
MEOs provides a cloud platform for managing construction operations: projects, documents, drawings, files, forms, site records and related AI-assisted drafting. These terms are a contract between MEOs and the organisation that registers an account.
2. Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you upload, for the actions of users you invite, and for keeping credentials secure (we recommend enabling two-factor authentication). You must not attempt to access other organisations' data, probe or overload the service, or use it for unlawful content.
3. AI-generated content
AI features produce drafts. A competent person in your organisation must review every AI-generated document before it is relied on, issued, or used on site. Health and safety documentation in particular remains your professional responsibility; MEOs flags missing information but does not replace a qualified reviewer, and MEOs is not a designer, principal designer or principal contractor under CDM 2015.
4. Your content
You own everything you upload and everything the platform generates for you. You grant MEOs only the licence needed to store, process and display that content to your organisation's users and to operate the features you invoke.
5. Subscriptions and trials
New organisations receive a 30-day free trial. Paid plans are billed per user, monthly or annually, and can be cancelled at any time, taking effect at the end of the paid period. Prices exclude VAT. During early access, plan changes may be handled directly rather than through automated billing.
6. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but do not currently offer a contractual SLA. We back up data continuously and can restore the service from backups. Support is provided by email during UK business hours.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, MEOs' total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses arising from reliance on unreviewed AI output contrary to section 3.
8. Termination
You can export your data and close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach section 2 after reasonable notice where practicable. On closure, data is deleted per the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes and law
We will give at least 30 days' notice of material changes to these terms. They are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
