1. Who we are

MEOs is a construction operations platform for contractors, operated from the United Kingdom ("MEOs", "we", "us"). For account and platform data, your organisation is the data controller and MEOs is the data processor. For data about visitors to this website and account holders themselves, MEOs is the controller.

2. What we collect

Account data: name, work email, job title, hashed password, two-factor settings. Organisation data: company name, branding, billing plan. Content you upload: projects, documents, drawings, files, photos, form submissions (which may include GPS location and signatures where your organisation enables them). Technical data: server logs, error reports and audit records of actions taken in the platform.

3. Where it lives

Application data is stored in PostgreSQL and file storage located in Frankfurt, Germany (EU), encrypted in transit and at rest. The application runs on Vercel infrastructure. Payments, when enabled, are handled by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers.

4. AI features

When your organisation uses AI features, the relevant project text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the requested output and is not used by Anthropic to train models under the API terms. You control AI usage through your organisation settings, and AI features are off until an administrator enables them.

5. What we never do

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your project content for advertising. We do not read customer content except where strictly necessary to provide support you have requested or as required by law.

6. Retention and deletion

Content remains available for the life of your subscription. When an organisation is deleted, its content is removed from live systems within 30 days and from backups within a further 35 days. You can export your documents at any time in standard formats (Word, PDF, Excel, CSV).

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and you can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). Requests about content held on behalf of your employer should go to your organisation administrator first, as the controller.

8. Cookies

MEOs uses only strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in and a preference for light or dark mode. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner.

9. Contact
